If something goes wrong, you get a revision — and in genuine cases where we can't make it right, a refund. Be honest with what you submit; don't use our service for anything harmful or illegal.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Storied Song ("Storied Song," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of our website at storiedsong.com and our custom song creation service.
By placing an order, creating an account, or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order. By placing an order, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

Storied Song provides a custom AI-powered songwriting service. When you place an order, you provide us with personal details, memories, and story information about the intended recipient. We use this information along with advanced AI songwriting technology to create an original, personalized song delivered to you as a high-quality MP3 audio file.
Every song is generated specifically for your order using the details you provide. Songs are not drawn from a library of pre-written content. However, as AI-generated creative works, there may be instances of similar phrasing or structure across different orders. No two songs are intentionally identical, but absolute uniqueness cannot be guaranteed.
All songs created by Storied Song are generated using artificial intelligence technology. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that your song will be AI-generated. We do not misrepresent songs as being written by human songwriters. For further details, see Section 10 (AI-Generated Content Disclaimer).
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible. Orders placed before any service change will be fulfilled under the terms in effect at the time of ordering.

An order is placed when you complete our order form, select a delivery tier, and successfully submit payment. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been accepted.
All prices are in US dollars. Storied Song reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We accept major credit and debit cards. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable amount. All transactions are encrypted and we never store your full card number.
Your order is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us. In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill your order, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.

Your custom song will be delivered as a high-quality MP3 audio file to the email address you provided at checkout.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays. Rush delivery orders placed after 6:00 PM Eastern Time may be processed the following business day.
If you have not received your song within the stated timeframe, please check your spam or promotions folder before contacting us. If your song is not delivered within 48 hours of the stated deadline, please email hello@storiedsong.com and we will resend it promptly or, at your election, issue a refund.
Storied Song is not responsible for delivery delays caused by incorrect email addresses provided at checkout. If your email address was entered incorrectly, contact us immediately and we will resend the song to the correct address.

Every order includes one (1) free revision. If your song is not exactly right, you may request a revision by replying to your delivery email within 14 days of receiving your song.
Reply to your delivery email with specific, clear feedback about what you'd like changed. Examples of actionable revision requests:
Revisions apply to the lyrical content, musical style, tone, and mood of the song. Revisions requesting a fundamentally different song concept (a complete rewrite from scratch using new information) may be treated as a new order at our discretion. We will communicate clearly before proceeding.

If you need to cancel your order before we begin production, contact us immediately at hello@storiedsong.com. We begin processing orders promptly, so cancellation may not always be possible. If we have not yet begun work on your song, we will issue a full refund.
Because our songs are custom-created digital goods, all sales are final after delivery. Your free revision is the primary remedy if you are not satisfied with the result.
We will issue a full or partial refund if:
Refunds will not be issued for: dissatisfaction with AI-generated creative output where the song reflects the information provided; change of mind after delivery; songs not used before the relevant occasion; or failure to request a revision within the 14-day revision window.
If you are located in the EU or UK, you ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel digital services. By placing an order and requesting immediate production, you expressly consent to waiver of this right once song creation has begun. We will begin work promptly after your order is confirmed.

Upon full payment and delivery of your song, Storied Song grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use your custom song for personal, non-commercial purposes, including:
If you wish to use your song for commercial purposes — including but not limited to advertising, monetized content, film/TV sync, or distribution on streaming platforms for revenue — you must obtain a separate commercial license from us. Contact hello@storiedsong.com for commercial licensing inquiries.
Storied Song retains all rights in the AI songwriting technology, processes, and systems used to create your song. We do not claim ownership over the personal story content you provided. The AI-generated output is licensed to you as described above.
You may not resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute your custom song without our express written permission.

By submitting story details, memories, and personal information through our order form, you represent and warrant that:
You grant Storied Song a limited license to use the content you submit solely for the purpose of creating your custom song. We do not use your content for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You may not use Storied Song's service to create songs that:
We reserve the right to refuse any order that, in our sole judgment, appears to violate these prohibitions. If an order is refused on these grounds, you will receive a full refund. Repeated violations may result in permanent suspension from our service.

Storied Song uses advanced AI songwriting technology to generate your custom song. By using our service, you acknowledge and accept the following:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Storied Song's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
Storied Song shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or emotional distress, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Storied Song and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

If you have a dispute with Storied Song, we ask that you contact us first at hello@storiedsong.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
If we are unable to resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or our service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration shall take place in the state of Florida, or at your election via remote/video proceedings.
You agree to resolve any disputes with Storied Song on an individual basis. You waive any right to bring or participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative action against us.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. If arbitration does not apply and you bring a legal claim in court, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will notify customers who have placed orders within the preceding 12 months via email.
Your continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using our service.
